Is Petite Cuisine^TM Dolphin-Safe?
Yes, Petite Cuisine^TM is made with tuna that is caught according to US guidelines that seek to safeguard and minimize the impact on the dolphin population of commercial fishing. It is considered Dolphin-Safe. Our manufacturer is registered as dolphin safe with Earth Island Institute.

Is Petite Cuisine^TM really human edible?
Yes, it is considered safe for human's to eat. It is different from pet food that is considered unappetizing for humans and it is different from human food because it not only looks good, smells great but it also has all the necessary vitamins and minerals that are required for your cat that can't be found in typical human foods.

Is there child labor involved in the production of Petite Cuisine^TM?
No child labor is used in the production of Petite Cuisine^TM canned cat food. PetPlay, Inc will not tolerate child labor of any sort in the production of its products.

What is the shelf life of your product? Our can product shelf life is at least three years and is clearly marked on the bottom of the can with a "best if used by" date. Our pouched products (Grilled Tuna Treats) have a two year shelf life.

Does your product contain any meat by-products? No. There are no meat by-products used in the production of Petite Cuisine^{TM .}

Does your product contain any Wheat Gluten? No, there are no wheat gluten ingredients in any of our products. It is cat safe.

Is your product good for diabetic cats? Veterinarians who recommend diets for diabetic cats many times recommend low carbohydrate, high protein formulations. Our product line is low carb-high protein and is suitable when recommended by a Veterinarian.

Is your product made using sustaintable fishing practices? Yes, in the case of our Thai sourced canned products all the skipjack tuna are caught using dolphin safe techniques. Some of our fish or shrimp are farmed using sustainable practices. In all cases we do not fish in areas of the world that are identified as being over fished for any of the species we utilize in our products.

What is Eco-Safe Fishing? Our grilled tuna treats are sourced from Ecuador where our factory participates in a regular 4 month annual holiday on catching tuna. This allows stocks to replenish themselves and provides for more sustainable fishing.
